We’re now a Barnsley Children’s University Learning Destination!

We’re thrilled to announce that Barnsley Community Gymnastics Academy is now a validated Learning Destination with Barnsley Children’s University.

This exciting partnership means our gymnasts can now earn Children’s University credits for the time they spend learning, moving and achieving in the gym. It’s a fantastic way to recognise their dedication and the valuable skills they develop through gymnastics, from confidence and coordination to teamwork and resilience.

So, how does it work?

If your child is a registered member of Barnsley Children’s University, all they need to do is let us know when they attend their session. We’ll provide the correct activity code (based on the class length), or write it directly into their Passport to Learning. They can then log the code into their CU Online account to collect their credits, building towards bronze, silver or gold awards that celebrate learning beyond the classroom.

We’re incredibly proud to play a part in this inspiring national initiative, helping children’s efforts in gymnastics count towards something even bigger.
